Installation view, ›Covered by Screens‹, Kunstverein Zirndorf, 2018
Before Anders Behring Breivik drove to the Norwegian island of Utøya on July 22, 2011, he detonated a car bomb in the government district of the Norwegian capital. The explosion killed eight people and injured another ten. The government quarter was badly destroyed. Some of the buildings, preserved with wood paneling and foil, are not in use. In others, provisionally repaired, employees go in and out.
